The "business restaurant" concept

Contract foodservice for B & I (Business and Industries: offices, office branches and factories) has been the core business of our company since the foundation. In recent years, there has been an increase in demand for restaurant-style design, management and services in B&I sector. To respond to this trend, we established the concept of "business restaurant" to offer pleasure of meals in a progressive and composite style by effectively utilizing the company’s know-how in chain restaurant management.

Providing about 600,000 meals a day in varied styles to accommodate our customers' needs

We strive to cater to clients’ needs through about 1,800 contracts with facilities nationwide (as of the end of June, 2013), suggesting creative ideas. Placing emphasis on benefit and joy of food, we continue to offer meals that promote the physical and mental health of our customers.

Greenhouse Adaptable Menu Entry System

Our original menu system: GAMES

Our unique order system enables automatic order placement of food materials via the network connecting the head quarter and branches as well as the food products distribution center. This system is useful for quick search for recipes and nutritional values of the menu, and significantly contributes to a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Western foods. Our staff with excellent expertise are applying themselves from day to day for research and development of as many as thousands menus.

Green's Kitchen Studio

A state-of-the-art test kitchen equipped with an all-electric system was newly installed at our head office. This is where our high-quality menus are developed. Designed as a “live kitchen that appeals to the five senses,” it has been equipped with monitors, as in a TV studio, so that people can watch the food being prepared. Menu presentations are also held in this kitchen.

Event menus

We offer a variety of event menus in addition to our regular menus. These include special menus featuring dishes made from select ingredients, as well as those that are in season. Popular menus from Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten and other Group restaurants are also made available at the cafeteria. We have also received high praise for the diversity of plans that we offer, such as our collaborative events with famous restaurants as well as tie-ins with overseas partners.

Green House offers original proposals to our customers. These proposals are designed to support each and every person to build and improve their health through the food that they eat, so that they can start doing what they can to lead a fulfilling life every day.

Wellness Menu, Sma-Meshi

We offer a lineup of menus that focus on health benefits?such as meals that are low in calories with an ample serving of vegetables, or those that enhance immunity and produce beautiful skin. We provide support towards the health of our customers through the means of food. We also offer an advanced original packaged menu called Sma-Meshi for clients that are deeply committed to reducing medical expenses and implementing measures against metabolic syndrome.

Wellness Fair

We organize events at our cafeterias to promote information sharing on seven health themes, such as preventing obesity, with advice provided by nutritionists and other specialists which are highly regarded by our clients.

Providing information and support from nutritionists

We provide helpful information about healthcare, such as monthly “Wellness Memo” (tabletop POPs) and e-mail newsletters. We also provide assistance in maintaining the health of office workers by creating an opportunity for nutritionists and our managerial dietician to speak directly with our customers’ employees.

Safety and reliability of our food

High standard of health and safety management

We pride ourselves on the high level of safety and hygiene management standards practiced by our company. Management and training for these standards are being conducted thoroughly, led by the Safety and Hygiene Management Office under the direct control of the President. Ingredients are also managed based on HACCP?with key management points being checked and recorded throughout the process from delivery to the provision of meals.

Thorough safety control of ingredients

We have a thorough system for managing ingredients after their delivery, with Food Product Distribution Center in Yokohama city. This center not only has a room for managing the quality of polished rice to ensure that the rice is properly stored, but also has an ISO Quality Safety and Health Management Office that specializes in the hygienic management of food and checks the safety and hygiene of the ingredients with their supplier. In the case of suppliers from outside the area, we only conduct business with designated suppliers who are able to meet our management standards and have passed the checks conducted by our staff.

International business

Overseas development of our contract foodservice business

Green House began conducting the contract foodservice business in China in 2008 and has since been expanding it through its wholly owned subsidiaries in Tianjin (including the Beijing branch of the local subsidiary), Wuxi (including the Shanghai and Suzhou branches of the local subsidiary), Guangzhou (including the Zhuhai branch of the local subsidiary) and Dalian. Moreover, Green House started its business in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam in 2013, and four years later established a wholly owned subsidiary in Hanoi, the capital city. The Green House Group is thus conducting business that brings happiness to people, with a focus on Asia.
